Alan became one of our most trusted suppliers in 2002 when John started at The Vineyard in Newbury. John was impressed by Alan’s traditional values for meat and game, not to mention his world-class sausages. The two became firm friends and often go shooting together, exploring their shared love of the Berkshire countryside.

 

Our Fisherman

Flying Fish Seafoods, St Columb, Cornwall

Johnny is the founder and director of Flying Fish Seafoods. From childhood fishing trips on the west coast of Scotland to his first fish company job at the age of 16, Johnny’s success in the fish trade seemed somewhat inevitable. He first supplied us with fish in 1997, when John was head chef at Lords of the Manor in Gloucestershire. And it’s thanks to Johnny’s incredibly high standards that we’re still using Flying Fish today.
