Since opening in 2014, The Woodspeen has been inspired by growing and crafting its own products; all our menus largely benefit from home grown vegetables from our manicured plots, we crafted a unique Golden Ale and we travelled to Spain to blend our very own Olive oil with the worlds best Olive Oil makers.
We’ve also crafted our very own ‘25 Yards’ Gin, using the botanicals from our garden. The vegetable and herb garden sits just 25 yards from our restaurant kitchen, giving us the perfect inspiration for our distinguished hand-crafted London Dry Gin.
The flavour has been meticulously guided by some of the finest palates in the country in collaboration with our world-class chefs, sommeliers and a Master of Culinary Arts.
The Woodspeen ’25 Yards’ gin has been developed in collaboration with Hawkridge Distillers, who create award-winning small-batch, high quality, hand crafted local gins.
From conception it was clear that both parties shared a passion for fresh and locally sourced ingredients.
Home-grown botanicals include elderflower, rosemary, thyme, Moroccan mint, blackcurrants leaves and lemon verbena. The flavour is fresh and smooth, citrus forward with subtle notes of fresh mint, finished with a juniper burst and a dash of local honey.
Our ’25 Yards’ gin is available to purchase from our restaurant. We can arrange for you to pick up your bottle directly from the Restaurant or to be delivered to your address (delivery charges will apply). Please call us to purchase in advance.
