Sweet Science: Mastering Macarons

Part baking, part patience, part delicious little miracle. Discover the sweet science behind perfect macarons as you learn the techniques, timings and pastry secrets needed to create delicate shells and irresistible fillings like the professionals.

A light lunch will be served, and of course, the macarons sampled, you will take home all your own macarons and all the course recipes.

Course Difficulty: Intermediate

Highlights:

Learning the skills and techniques needed to produce elegant macarons, including:

  • Italian meringue
  • making the macaron batter and how to neatly pipe the shells
  • Various fillings, for example, lemon curd, raspberry pate de fruit, pistachio and chocolate ganache
